Exhibition Isabel Muñoz, Love and Ecstasy

Isabel Muñoz’s awarded and recognized work is impregnated of a particular style and is based in a thorough investigation of the human body. Blanca Lleó has designed the installation and has coordinated, together with Christian Caujolle, the exhibition “El Amor y el Éxtasis” that was displayed in the Canal de Isabel II’s deposit in Madrid, during the PhotoEspaña 2010 festival. The installation, designed in collaboration with the artist, was an innovative communication idea because it tried to transmit to the visitor the complete vital experience of the artist, through her photographs of ancestral spiritual ceremonies that even today are carried out in Siria, Iran, Irak and Turkey.

Isabel’s project is presented in a unique synthesis throught its different views. In the exhibition, the real and virtual presence, the dance and the architectural space, as well as the most advanced audiovisual technology, are put at the service of photography, establishing an emotional link between the public, the photographer and her work. An audiovisual installation of great format is projected along 360º inside the deposit that tops the ascending photograph tour
